أَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن قَرْنٍۢ مَّكَّنَّـٰهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مَا لَمْ نُمَكِّن لَّكُمْ وَأَرْسَلْنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ عَلَيْهِم مِّدْرَارًۭا وَجَعَلْنَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرَ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهِمْ فَأَهْلَكْنَـٰهُم بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَأَنشَأْنَا مِنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ قَرْنًا ءَاخَرِينَ

تمہارے لئے دریا کا شکار پکڑنا اور اس کا کھانا حلال کیا گیا ہے۔ تمہارے فائده کے واسطے اور مسافروں کے واسطے اور خشکی کا شکار پکڑنا تمہارے لئے حرام کیا گیا ہے جب تک تم حالت احرام میں رہو اور اللہ تعالیٰ سے ڈرو جس کے پاس جمع کئے جاؤ گے

अगर इस पर मालूम हो जाए कि वह दोनों (दरोग़ हलफ़ी (झूठी कसम) से) गुनाह के मुस्तहक़ हो गए तो दूसरे दो आदमी उन लोगों में से जिनका हक़ दबाया गया है और (मय्यत) के ज्यादा क़राबतदार हैं (उनकी तरवीद में) उनकी जगह खड़े हो जाएँ फिर दो नए गवाह ख़ुदा की क़सम खाएँ कि पहले दो गवाहों की निस्बत हमारी गवाही ज्यादा सच्ची है और हमने (हक़) नहीं छुपाया और अगर ऐसा किया हो तो उस वक्त बेशक हम ज़ालिम हैं
